Who is our CLC, Kaitlyn?

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Staples — co-founder of RF Women’s Wellness and a certified lactation counselor. Before becoming a mom, I was a seventh-grade teacher. Teaching gave me patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of how important it is to meet people exactly where they are — lessons that now shape the way I support mothers every single day.

My Own Journey to Motherhood

When I became a mom, I faced many of the same challenges you might be experiencing right now — latching struggles, supply concerns, and more than a little self-doubt. It was overwhelming at times, and I remember wondering if I was doing everything “right.”

With the guidance of a compassionate lactation counselor, I found the support and reassurance I needed to keep going. That encouragement helped me successfully nurse both of my children — at the same time! That experience didn’t just shape my journey as a mother; it completely transformed my career path. It inspired me to become a certified lactation counselor (CLC) myself, so I could help other women find that same confidence and connection.

How I Support Moms Today

Now, I blend clinical training with real-life experience to help families navigate feeding challenges with compassion and understanding. Whether you’re working through latch issues, supply questions, or simply trying to find your rhythm as a new mom, I’m here to support you in a way that feels gentle, realistic, and judgment-free.

Because here’s the truth — feeding your baby doesn’t have to feel lonely or confusing. When you have the right guidance, it can become one of the most empowering and meaningful parts of your motherhood journey.
