Why Am I So Tired?

One of the biggest—and most common—questions I get from my clients is this: Why am I so tired? And I want you to hear this clearly—you are not meant to walk through life in constant exhaustion. Your body was designed to have sustainable energy throughout the day, not just short bursts followed by crashes.

When fatigue becomes your normal, it’s your body trying to communicate that something needs support.

Common Root Causes of Low Energy

Low energy isn’t usually random. It often comes from a combination of underlying factors like chronic stress, mineral imbalances, poor sleep, blood sugar imbalances and cravings, and even hormone shifts.

When your body doesn’t have the nutrients it needs to function properly, it can slip into survival mode. Fatigue is often the very first sign of that shift. Instead of pushing harder, this is your cue to slow down and listen.

Simple First Steps to Support Your Energy

A great place to start is by making sure you’re eating enough protein throughout the day. Protein helps stabilize blood sugar and supports hormone and energy production.

Next, focus on adding minerals back into your diet. Potassium and sodium are huge for energy, adrenal support, and hydration, and magnesium can help support both stress and sleep quality.

Another simple but powerful tool is getting sunlight in the morning. Morning light helps reset your circadian rhythm, which plays a major role in your energy levels, sleep quality, and hormone balance.

When Fatigue Feels Constant and Overwhelming

If your fatigue feels constant, unwavering, or like you’re struggling just to get through the day, that’s a sign to dig deeper. This is where functional testing can be incredibly helpful.

A Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is one of my favorite tools to identify mineral imbalances and deficiencies that may be contributing to fatigue. Instead of guessing, HTMA gives us a clear picture of what your body is lacking and how best to support it.

You Deserve to Feel Energized Again

Fatigue doesn’t have to be your baseline. With the right nourishment, minerals, lifestyle support, and personalized guidance, your body can move out of survival mode and back into balance.

If you’re ready to stop feeling exhausted and start enjoying your days again, I’d love to help you uncover what your body needs and support you on that journey.
